Head of Product & Partnership at Vikey

Describe your career in the vacation rental industry and how you reached your current position in the company.

I started my career in the rental industry more than 15 years ago starting with property management in Rome. I founded in 2014 my company called CVS Roma and after many consultings for hosts, owners and property managers I enjoyed Vikey as Head of Sales in the first place and since February 2023 I have embraced a new challenge as head of product & partnerships in the same company.

In your opinion, what are the main current challenges in the vacation rental industry, and how do you think your company can help overcome them?

Sinergy and validation. Rental industry has to be seen by the market with the same authority and reliability as the hotel industry in terms of lobbying, dynamics and investments. The average property manager is usually not so aware about many aspects of technology, bureaucracy and market overview. It has to become professional users such as big property manager companies. The suppliers like my company (Vikey) are involved in the same process, assisting property managers in order to scale up.

What are your expectations for the 2023 edition of VRWS in Barcelona, and what makes you particularly interested in attending this specific edition?

Vikey is expanding its business outside Italy and the Mediterranean market. So first thing first is lead acquisition and foreign market understanding. By my side, as product owner, be inspired by new market fit ideas, trends and networking opportunities.

Could you provide a brief preview of what attendees can expect from your participation during the Vacation Rental World Summit?

A better knowledge about an all-in-one solution by just a single provider that can help to save above 80% in cost operations and bureaucracy instead of traditional check-in, in order to scale-up
