VRWS Leadership Interview of the Day
In approaching the 11th edition of the Vacation Rental World Summit, we’re releasing a series of interviews to leaders, key players and highly motivated people in our industry whose companies make a deep impact in our space and will be present at VRWS.
The aim is to get you some insight into these leaders and the company they founded, manage or work for, as well as getting some behind the scenes on their thinking, their motivation and their drive.
GRZEGORZ CHUCHRA
1. What do you do for a living and which part of your job do you enjoy the most?
I am the founder and CEO of Tedee, a company that specializes in innovative access solutions. I particularly enjoy the challenge of bringing a completely new product to market and seeing it gain popularity. My work involves not just catering to the short-term rental market, but also making our products an integral part of everyday life—allowing people to enter their homes without keys, not just during holidays. Additionally, I love spending my free time actively, running every day, reading inspirational books, and enjoying quality time with my two sons.
2. How does your company innovate or adapt to the evolving needs of the vacation rental space?
At Tedee, we prioritize listening to our customers and continually develop new features to meet their needs. For example, we’ve introduced access links for easy building entry and integrated our access control systems with alarm systems. We also constantly refine our admin panel to automate property management operations as much as possible, making life easier for property managers.
3. How do you view the various predictions about AI’s impact on society, ranging from dystopian scenarios to transformative advancements, and how does your company approach or integrate AI technology?
AI technology offers tremendous benefits, particularly in tasks like programming, content generation, and data analysis. It saves a significant amount of time and allows us to work more efficiently. At Tedee, all departments are already leveraging the advantages of AI in their daily operations. However, we also believe that the human touch remains crucial, especially in the hospitality industry, where personal interaction is key.
4. What would you like to achieve by attending the Vacation Rental World Summit 2024 in Porto with your company?
Our main goals at the Vacation Rental World Summit 2024 are to engage in great networking opportunities, connect with our customers, and learn about the latest challenges and trends in the industry. We aim to gain valuable insights that can help us continue to innovate and serve our customers better.
5. What are your passions, including any hobbies or sports, that you enjoy discussing and sharing with others outside the professional setting?
Outside of work, I am passionate about running, reading books, and traveling. These activities not only help me unwind but also provide me with new perspectives and inspiration, which I love sharing with others.
