Describe your career in the vacation rental industry and how you reached your current position in the company.
I have been working in the Hospitality Industry for over 7 years now. Most of my career, I have worked as a Revenue Manager in consulting companies for both hotels and short term rental properties, which helped me understand the needs in the industry. When the opportunity came to work for PriceLabs my decision was an easy one as I strongly believe automation is key, and I want to help other property managers or hosts to achieve the best performance possible while saving time.
In your opinion, what are the main current challenges in the vacation rental industry, and how do you think your company can help overcome them?
The main challenges in the vacation rental industry is the fast and constant evolution of the market, which is challenging to follow. Most property managers may not come from Revenue Management backgrounds and donāt have the time to check all the market data on a daily basis to make decisions about their pricing.Ā
PriceLabs is here to help them optimize their revenue, finding the right balance between occupancy and prices while not missing out on events and high demand dates.
It also helps Property Managers save a lot of their precious time automating daily rates and restrictions adjustments benefiting from the best and latest technologies.
What are your expectations for the 2023 edition of VRWS in Barcelona, and what makes you particularly interested in attending this specific edition?
We are looking forward to meeting as many people as possible, raising awareness about PriceLabs to property managers, and also building relationships with our current customers and partners.
We are particularly excited about the speed dating sessions, allowing us to connect with users or potential users and help them understand better how PriceLabs can help not leave money on the table.
Could you provide a brief preview of what attendees can expect from your participation during the Vacation Rental World Summit?
We are very excited to come to VRWS again this year to present our new and improved version, which we just launched: Hyper Local Pulse, a cutting-edge solution that leverages hyper-local data to optimize rates and increase your revenues.
