- What inspired you to enter the vacation rental industry?
The idea of helping hosts simplify their operations and increase direct bookings through smart technology truly inspired us. We saw a gap—and an opportunity—to innovate.
- What sets your company apart in the vacation rental industry, and how do you ensure you stay ahead of the competition?
We combine automation, AI, and an all-in-one approach to property management. Listening closely to our users and evolving quickly keeps us one step ahead.
- If you attended the 2024 Vacation Rental World Summit in Porto, what was the most exciting or valuable takeaway for you? And looking ahead to the 2025 edition in Rome, what are you hoping to gain or experience this time?
We didn’t attend the Porto edition, but we followed it closely and were inspired by the community’s energy. In Rome, we’re excited to finally connect in person, exchange ideas, and showcase how AI is reshaping vacation rental management.
- Beyond business, what’s one experience or destination that left a lasting impression on you, and why?
As Italians, we’re genuinely proud that the next edition will take place in Rome—Italy is a country that lives and thrives on tourism, and the vacation rental sector is growing rapidly here. Every corner of our territory has something unique to offer, and being part of this evolving landscape is truly inspiring.
- What’s one fun fact, hidden talent, or little-known secret about you that other attendees should know to spark a great conversation with you?
You might be surprised to learn how much of Octorate’s innovation comes directly from feedback loops with hosts. I guess you could say I’m pretty skilled at listening – not just to what people are saying, but to what they’re not saying. It’s this ongoing conversation with our users that helps us keep improving!
