VRWS Leadership Interview of the Day
In approaching the 12th edition of the Vacation Rental World Summit, we’re releasing a series of interviews to leaders, key players and highly motivated people in our industry whose companies make a deep impact in our space and will be present at VRWS.
The aim is to get you some insight into these leaders and the company they founded, manage or work for, as well as getting some behind the scenes on their thinking, their motivation and their drive.

NOELIA NOVELLA
1. What inspired you to enter the vacation rental industry?
Eleven years ago, we spent six months travelling the world with two babies, staying in short-term rentals. We loved everything except the cleaning. Having grown up with hotel standards, what we found fell far short. We felt the need to professionalise the industry by making cleaning, linen, and maintenance as seamless as booking a stay.
2. What sets your company apart in the vacation rental industry, and how do you ensure you stay ahead of the competition?
We’re both a SaaS platform and a curated marketplace a true SaaS-enabled Marketplace. This means we deeply understand the needs of property managers, cleaning companies, and cleaners because we actually deliver the services ourselves. Our edge lies in quality and stock control, HR tools, and enabling property managers to scale reliably across multiple countries. We stay ahead by listening closely to our users and evolving with their needs.
3. If you attended the 2024 Vacation Rental World Summit in Porto, what was the most exciting or valuable takeaway for you? And looking ahead to the 2025 edition in Rome, what are you hoping to gain or experience this time?
In Porto, I loved seeing how operators are embracing automation without losing the human touch. It really validated our mission. For Rome, I’m looking forward to even deeper collaboration opportunities, meeting industry leaders, and learning about the latest sustainability initiatives in the sector.
4. Beyond business, what’s one experience or destination that left a lasting impression on you, and why?
Visiting Japan was unforgettable—the mix of tradition, precision, and hospitality gave me so many ideas about what true service excellence can look like.
5. What’s one fun fact, hidden talent, or little-known secret about you that other attendees should know to spark a great conversation with you?
I’m obsessed with local markets everywhere I travel—I can spend hours exploring stalls, chatting with vendors, and sampling everything. It’s my favourite way to connect with a place.
