VRWS Leadership Interview of the Day
In approaching the 12th edition of the Vacation Rental World Summit, we’re releasing a series of interviews to leaders, key players and highly motivated people in our industry whose companies make a deep impact in our space and will be present at VRWS.
The aim is to get you some insight into these leaders and the company they founded, manage or work for, as well as getting some behind the scenes on their thinking, their motivation and their drive.

Alon Goldboim
VRWS- What inspired you to enter the vacation rental industry?
I was drawn to the vacation rental industry because of its blend of hospitality, technology, and entrepreneurship. It’s one of the few industries where you can directly impact people’s lives through memorable experiences, while also building systems and tools that transform the way businesses operate. I saw an opportunity to bring innovation to a space that was rapidly evolving but still full of inefficiencies — and that challenge excited me.
- What sets your company apart in the vacation rental industry, and how do you ensure you stay ahead of the competition?
Our company is built on the belief that technology should empower, not overwhelm. We don’t just offer software — we provide intelligence. What sets us apart is our focus on operational clarity and team alignment through AI. We’re not chasing buzzwords; we’re solving real problems that operators deal with every day. To stay ahead, we listen obsessively to our users, stay laser-focused on execution, and move faster than the rest.
- If you attended the 2024 Vacation Rental World Summit in Porto, what was the most exciting or valuable takeaway for you? And looking ahead to the 2025 edition in Rome, what are you hoping to gain or experience this time?
Porto was electric. The conversations were deeper, the problems discussed more sophisticated — it felt like the industry had turned a corner. For me, the most valuable takeaway was seeing how aligned operators and tech providers are becoming around shared pain points. Looking ahead to Rome, I’m excited to build on those connections, see how others are adapting to AI, and continue shaping the future of this industry with the people pushing it forward.
- Beyond business, what’s one experience or destination that left a lasting impression on you, and why?
A few years ago, I spent time in Patagonia — totally unplugged, surrounded by raw nature and silence. It reminded me how important it is to zoom out. When you’re building a company, it’s easy to live in the weeds. That trip gave me perspective I still carry with me today.
- What’s one fun fact, hidden talent, or little-known secret about you that other attendees should know to spark a great conversation with you?
I’m a surprisingly decent cook — especially when it comes to Mediterranean food. If you ever want to debate the best way to make shakshuka or grill the perfect eggplant, I’m your guy. Just don’t ask me to bake — that’s still a work in progress.
