Mike Bayer
Mike’s knowledge of the Vacation Rental Industry covers many aspects of the business making him an excellent speaker in this field.
Mike started out in the industry with his own vacation rental property maintenance company and quickly saw the potential of the business. He then moved into the role of Account Manager with one of Canada’s leading rental management agencies where he worked with hundreds of owners helping them maximize their occupancy and become more profitable.
With over a decade of experience working with a rental agency, and as a vacation rental owner himself, Mike is now the other half of the very successful vacation rental resource www.cottageblogger.com.
More recently, his mission to help agencies and owners excel as rental professionals has lead him to co-found The Vacation Rental Formula (www.vacationrentalformula.com), a complete step-by-step action system to create a stress free, fully booked and sought after vacation rental business.
Lead Generation & Email Automation
To Help Attract, Convert, Close and Delight your clients
The increasingly competitive world of vacation rental means that you have to connect with your audience more than ever. Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Periscope are just some of the many things you are trying to master.
Unfortunatly we often forget the basics of communication with our existing and potential clients – The simple email.
‘Email marketing’ has had a bad rap, and we all hate spammers, but what if you could build your relationship with your potential, existing and past guests with a minimal amount of set up and cost, by just using automated emails.
In this session Mike will cover 7 Steps that will allow you to collect emails, build an email list and know what to send these people to keep them interested in what you have to say.
We’ll learn:
- Why email marketing is so important to building your vacation rental business
- How to excite someone enough to willingly give you their email address
- What software to use to house your email list and why
- The tools you can use to collect these email addresses
- How to automate your follow up emails (without seeming automated)
- The best methods to engage with the people on your email list
As a bit of a teaser, Mike has included a free download to get you started with some of the tools he will be covering during the session.
